How to spend the weekend on your Hen Do in Brighton
Brighton is no secret when it comes to Hen Dos. Parties flock here each year in immeasurable numbers to experiences what is quite literally ‘Hen Haven’! With so much to visit and so little time it’s hard to know what to pack into a weekend. Luckily for you we’ve narrowed it down so only the best of activities, restaurants and nightlife experiences remain. If you follow our ultimate guide, we’ll give you the creme della creme of Hen Do musts!
Choccywoccydoodah
“What?” I hear you say! Choccywoccydoodah, as the name suggests is Brighton’s unique chocolatier. Design is their focus and everything they do is in the name of art! We dare you to think of something you won’t be able to make at Choccywoccydoodah and if you don’t experience some of the most delicious cakes and chocolate treats of your life, we will stand up and admit failure! Stylishly decorated and renowned for its celebrity clientele as high as David Hasselhoff, its definitely the place for you and your Hens.
The Brighton Wheel
It’s a step down from the London Eye in terms of size but definitely not in terms of style and views! Take the girls on the Brighton Wheel at sunset, pick the champagne package and celebrate life with bubbles as you watch the sun disappear below the sea and the sky with its amber hues. Nowhere else will you be able to catch such panoramic views of Brighton at its best! We think it’s the perfect inbetweeny activity and it’s located right in the centre of the city by the sea. There are loads of fantastic restaurants you and the hens can then head to and you’re right in the middle of the bar life when you want to get messy later on!
Lagoon Watersports
Every Hen Do needs that not-to-be-missed day activity and there’s no better way to spend it than with Lagoon Watersports! It would be wasteful to come all the way to Brighton and not take advantage of the huge coastline and all of the activities that are possible with Lagoon Watersports. If it’s on water, they’ll be able to set it up for you with activities for everyone from the laid back hens to the thrill seekers looking for a wet afternoon of screaming and fun (!) If you’re not much up for the adrenaline aspect, you and your girls can spend the afternoon Stand Up Paddle Boarding and enjoying the views of the southern coast. Or perhaps sailing boat trip or powerboat rides is more up your street? Their team specialise in catering for Hen Parties and will take your team on as complete beginners, teaching you the basics step by step! If you’re really in for a wild ride, you can take the girls wakeboarding of even raft racing. There are two venues to choose from so you can pick between the famous Brighton Marina or Hove Lagoon depending on your preference and availability!
