The Perfect Brighton Hen Do
The Perfect Brighton Hen Do
There’s SO much to do that you’ll never cram Brighton and all it’s possibilities into one weekend so we’ve narrowed it down to the perfect selection of girly, boozey and action packed activities.
The Mesmerist
There’s no point heading to any of the big clubs early in the night as they only really get started at about 11pm. We recommend this as the perfect little bar to get the party started and kick the night off! It’s one of these bars you can dance in which is a must for Hen Night locations. There’s often a DJ playing and you’ll soon be ready to hit the seafront where you’ll find the majority of Brighton’s famous venues. Check out the Mesmerist
‘Its Still 1985’
Brighton is home to so many bars and clubs that there’s almost no point doing any planning. Brighton will suck you in and the city will plan your night for you but it’s always nice to have the top recommendations from the people in the know. Popular with the locals, visit The Haunt’s famous 80s night, ‘It’s Still 1985‘, where you can guarantee the girls a top night at one of Brighton’s most acclaimed clubs! Other fantastic options include Coalition, Shooshh and if you’re up for karaoke, Lucky Voice!
You might think this kind of classy hen activity would set you back an arm and a leg. In fact it is great value at about £55 per person for a group. Find out more about yacht sailing boat trip from Brighton
Clubs
You’ve warmed up your liver and you had some great food. It’s now time to get the party started:
Coalition – Located on the seafront under the arches, with a heaving outside area in the summer months. Loads of live DJs throughout the year playing house, dance and pop.
Green Door Store – Located under the main train station. It is a true ‘hang out’ playing all sorts from 60s retro to 90s pop. Loved by so many Brightonians with a really friendly chilled out feel.
Patterns – Just back from the seafront by the pier. A well established Brighton venue spread over two floors. Downstairs for the music, lasers, strobes and smoke machines. Upstairs for the more chilled out. Great outside terrace and drinks menu.
Casablanca – A really popular venue for Brighton locals. Live music all week and weekend sets from the house band. Playing a huge range of covers old and new. Has a real shabby but amazing fun feel.
This is just a few ideas to get you started. There is plenty more to be doing out in town. Why not try an unplanned hen do? Just arrive and hit the streets, there are plenty of hidden gems you will stumble across?
By the sea…get on the water
Brighton is often know as London by the sea. You are at the great British sea side so why on get out on the water with adventure activities like wakeboarding or raft racing, a luxury yacht trip or a high speed powerboat ride With such a crazy afternoon completed, you girls will be buzzing looking for something to kick the evening into overdrive!
The Laines
If you’re not too hungover the next day, Brighton’s shopping opportunities are some not to be missed. So summon your crew from their drunken slumber (the party isn’t over yet) and haul them out to the North and South Laines to visit shops you’ll never get to see anywhere else. You’ll experience a city with so much personality during your Brighton stay and the Laines are certainly the heart and soul of that. It’s the perfect location to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon as the Laines is full of independent coffee shops, restaurants and quirky fashion shops on twisted, narrow sheets that sell the weird, the wonderful and things you wouldn’t even know existed!
