The Parade itself
If you’re eager to throw a wild weekend for your girls during the pride season then the parade is not to be missed. It takes place at the beginning of August, and whilst the main event culminates at Preston Park, wherever you girls decide to spend your night, the pride celebrations will follow! Where else can you see drag queens, a 20m silk rainbow flag and the entire Gay Men’s Chorus dressed as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz all in the same place?
The Laines
Otherwise known as Hen Party Shopping Haven! Those who know The Laines always give that same smile of appreciation, and those who don’t know them soon find out and learn the appreciative smile as well. The Laines are renowned for having the cutest, independent boutiques where you’re guaranteed to snatch up a bargain you’d never find anywhere else. Full of vintage stores, quirky restaurants and nifty little shops selling things you didn’t know existed, The Laines is the perfect place for you and your ladies to loose yourself for an afternoon.
A place to stay – Strawberry Fields
Kick up your Hen Party’s adrenaline notch by taking the girls wake-boarding, SUPing, or raft racing! As seen on TV, Lagoon Watersports are the life and soul of Brighton and Hove’s watersporting community. They specialise in Hen Parties and their super friendly team are there to satisfy each and every one of you and your hens’ thrill seeking needs. Located at either Hove Lagoon or Brighton Marina, Lagoon Watersports are an unmissable part of the Brighton experience. Bring the bikinis!

Other ideas that will get you on the water with a touch of class include a thrilling high speed powerboat ride along the Brighton coast. You will get the chance to see Brighton at high speed from the Big Blue with our qualified instructor! Great fun and guaranteed to thrill with a touch of class and style. This adventure costs about £35 pp.
Also worth consider is Standup Paddleboarding at Hove Lagoon. Just 3 miles from the centre of Brighton welcomes hen groups. Not only can you learn to SUP but you can venture out onto the sea have a BBQ and chill out on the beach. Standup Paddlingboarding is easy, fun and very fashionable, Celebrities like Rihanna, Jennifer Aniston and Cindy Crawford and be seen SUPing.
